BIG Announcement

I'm counting down to the release date of DEAD AND KICKING on December 1st and I want to share the excitement! :)

I'm running a blog contest from now until release day. Enter a comment on my blog between now and release day and your name will go into the hat to be drawn on December 2nd.

What's the prize you ask?

1) A signed set of the Ghost Dusters books (Remains of the Dead, Devil May Ride & Dead and Kicking). Hopefully you already have all three books but, if you do, they'll make a great gift for someone you love :)

2) A $100 gift certificate to spend on Amazon.

That's my excitement for today. What's yours?

I've read the first book and loved it! I'm looking forward to the next ones too.

Not too much excitement here. I just realized I'm off work Wednesday, so that was a little unexpected excitement! I guess that's as exciting as it gets around here right now.

You know, this Halloween my 10 year old son looked a LOT like some of your "friends" at the Surrey International Writers Conference. lol He would have fit right in. Anyway, I LOVE your books and can't wait to get my hands on this latest one!

I love your books and have had your book on pre-order with Amazon.com for MONTHS... It's strange to say that can't wait for December -- not for candy canes and trees but for Dead bodies...

Great prizes. and no big announcements unless you count me getting started on my xmas shopping. I acutally won and Ipod Nano at work through the United way Giving program so my thirteen will be getting that for xmas. He'll be thrilled. It hasn't been long since I found your books and am looking to buy the first one soon.

Heretofore my excitement for the day was Monday night football, but I think your contest trumps! Hope my name goes in the hat, because I would LOVE a signed set of books! (Forget the gift idea Wendy; I'll just give away my unsigned copies :))

I've been trying to be good and not buy new books for a couple of months, but I'll be ready to splurge come December, so YAY!!!! :)

Nothing much new going on here. But one of my uncle's quarter horses that he trains/races came in third in a race yesterday. We were all quite pleased by that. :)

Oh wow! I just discovered this series last year. Can't remember how...thought it sounded interesting, bought the book and devoured it! Luckily the second one was already out so I bought that and devoured that! LOVED IT! It's been a long wait for this book. Luckily it comes out just before I go on winter break so I can read it!

I'm like Dru. I go to the store the day it comes out to pick mine up. Last time I pre-ordered a book it came almost 10 days after the release day. So needless to say I was ticked. I want to start reading the day it comes out! I mean I have waited a year for it! :) Great Prizes!

Yay for the coming release day! I got your announcement in the email yesterday, but I was indisposed. I'm glad I didn't miss the fun. =o)

Nothing exciting happening here. I did have an awesome writing weekend, though, so maybe that counts a little.

Please...I am such a huge fan that I have had this book pre-ordered on amazon since July 2, 2009. I can't wait to read it. Though it will be bittersweet I am sure. You know, like when you are are reading a book that is so good you can't wait to find out what happens next yet you are enjoying reading it so much you don't want it to end. That is what your books are like for me. Can't wait to get it in. Congrats!

Wendy, I had my interview presentation the other day. People seemed to like my props (your books), and the first one's now circulating. A fellow classmate will be attending her first RWA meeting next week. She was relieved to hear what you had to say about the association (that is, being important for all genres), as her genre is horror/thriller. Not exactly romance!

Looking forward to the last in the series--and the end of my courses.
