Lest We Forget...

Remembrance Day ... Poppy Day ... Armistice Day ... Veterans Day ... Whatever you call it, in Canada it's the day we commemorate the sacrifices made by the armed forces and civilians during war.

November 11th is the anniversary of the day World War I ended in 1918. At the 11th hour, on the 11th day of the 11th month we have two minutes of silence. Two minutes. It's a pittance of time. A small price to pay to give sincere tribute to all those who have given the ultimate sacrifice.

Now, more than ever, let's all pray for peace.

I love this video.

Happy Remembrance Day and Veterans' Day
